Breast cancer is the most occurring reason of women death under 65. After lungs cancer, it is considered as the next threat to women. Every 1 of 8 women in America has breast cancer. The incidence is most widely seen among higher socio-economic conditions but the death rate is more among lower class. The reason is obvious, late detection and poor treatment. The death rate due to breast cancer has declined significantly due to improved screening and early treatment. Well, every woman should do self-examination for breast cancer to detect any changer on their breasts.
Self Examination for Breast Cancer is encouraged to be carried out
As we all know that cancer can be cured if detected at an earlier age. Like other cancers, breast cancer can be treated if proper diagnosis and early treatment is done. Since last century, self- examination for breast cancer is supported by medical societies, cancer specialists and groups. They have found it effective as a preliminary testing approach. It is inexpensive and not evasive so, many women got attracted to it and its effectiveness is reducing mortality due to breast cancer is also showing positive results. Almost twice as breast biopsies showing benign undertook in these groups. So, women should be inspired to do self-examination to detect cancer between regular checkups.
